From one of the best Seinfeld episodes - "The Competition"

In the "Seinfeld" episode "The Contest", Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer challenge each other to see who can go the longest without a...$%%$#.

The competition becomes tougher as they encounter various temptations and distractions.

The episode originally aired on November 18, 1992, as the 11th episode of the fourth season.

The episode was written by Larry David and was based on a real competition for David and his supposed friends.

The episode cleverly addresses the topic of taboo through innuendo and euphemism, never directly mentioning "the word". Instead, it humorously explores the difficulties and distractions each character faces in trying to stay abstinent.

The episode stands out for its comedic brilliance, sharp dialogue and the way it tackles a dangerous subject with subtlety and humor.

"The Contest" was critically acclaimed and won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Comedy Series Writing for Larry David. It has since become a cultural touchstone and is often cited as one of the greatest television episodes of all time.
